this is the painting i made for jason. the monster is taken from a flashlight book that i bought at salvation army.
this is also the first painting i have ever painted in this style. my previous paintings have all been solid colors, i've been playing around with mixing different colors for texture and shading. and this is the result.

i love the anthropomorphic qualities of the beast and the way he is so contrapposto and your frontal perspective with the foreground focus is genius!!!
